At Kindness and Kompassion, we specialize in providing compassionate, high-quality care for adults ages 21 and older. Whether your loved one is living with a disability, recovering from illness, or simply in need of daily support, our mission is to bring peace of mind to families by delivering reliable, respectful, and personalized in-home care.
We’re here to ease your stress and support your family— offering care you can trust, from people who truly care.

Our agency accepts Medicaid and provides a range of services, including:

  • Personal Care Assistance — Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Respite Care — Short-term relief for family caregivers.
  • Specialized Support — Services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, chronic health conditions, or
    functional limitations.

To qualify, the individual must:

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Be enrolled in Medicaid
  • Have a documented medical necessity for in-home support

Eligibility determinations can be made within approximately 30 days from the time the application is

Through Medicaid, If you live with your caregiver, they can get paid to take care of you!

You may be Eligible!

How It Works – For Patients

You may qualify for our in-home care services if:

  • You have active Medicaid
  • You live in Georgia in one of the following counties: Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Fayette, Rockdale, Coweta and Spalding,
  • You require assistance with daily tasks and meet the Nursing Home Level of Care
  • You can direct your own care (or have a legal representative who can do so on your behalf)
  • You are 65 or older, or 21–64 with a qualifying disability

Please note: Medicare alone does not qualify. Medicaid is required due to state regulations.

How It Works – For Caregivers

To qualify as a caregiver through our program:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must not be excluded from the Medicaid program
  • Must be a family member who lives in the same home as the individual receiving care

Spouses are not eligible to be paid caregivers under this program

We proudly support family caregiving by helping eligible individuals become paid caregivers for their loved ones.

Private In-Home Care Options in Georgia

We proudly serve families across Georgia with a variety of care options designed to meet every need—whether you’re paying privately or seeking support through Medicaid waiver programs.

Private Duty Home Care

Private duty care offers hands-on, one-on-one support for individuals who require more intensive or extended care. Services are customized and may include both non-medical and skilled nursing care depending on your situation.

Private Home Care Providers (PHCPs)

As a licensed Private Home Care Provider in Georgia, we meet all state regulatory standards to ensure our clients receive safe, compassionate, and
high-quality care in their homes.

New Option Waiver (NOW) Comprehensive Support Waiver (Comp)/ Community Care Service Program (CCSP)/SOURCE

This Georgia Medicaid waiver programs help eligible seniors and individuals with disabilities receive in-home services that allow them to remain in their communities. We assist with navigating the enrollment process to make care more accessible and affordable.
